This marketing website at solwino.com is a static information site. We do not operate user accounts, online shops, visitor profiling, or a website database. Personal data is processed only in these cases: technical server logs when you visit the site (Section 3), your cookie notice acknowledgement stored locally in your browser (Section 9), and information you send us via the contact form or email (Section 4). All fonts and scripts are delivered from our own hosting — we do not use external font CDNs.

Where we obtain consent for processing activities, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR serves as the legal basis. 3. Hosting
This website is hosted on Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland; azure.microsoft.com). The application runs in the Azure region Germany West Central (Germany). We do not operate our own database for this website.
When you access our website, technical access data is automatically collected and temporarily stored in server log files on the hosting provider's servers. This may include:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access
- URL and file requested
- HTTP status code and volume of data transferred
- Browser type, browser version, and operating system
- Referrer URL (previously visited page)
This processing is carried out to provide, maintain, and secure the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional website).
4. Contact form and email communication
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide — in particular your name, email address, optional company name, and message content — solely to handle and respond to your enquiry.
This website does not store contact form submissions in a database. Your enquiry is forwarded to us by email via Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Corporation) to info@solwino.com. The application does not write the content of contact form fields (name, email, company, message) to application logs. We do not use Application Insights, Azure Monitor, or comparable visitor analytics on this website.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract. In all other cases, we process the data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficiently handling contact requests).
We do not share the data you submit with third parties without your consent, unless this is necessary to process your enquiry or required by law.
5. AI service providers
AI services that would process personal data of website visitors are currently not used on this marketing website.
Should AI services be used in connection with this website or related services in the future, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly — including details on the purpose of processing, any transfers to third countries, and applicable data processing agreements.
6. Processors (Auftragsverarbeiter)
We use the following processors within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR in connection with this website:
- Microsoft Azure — website hosting and delivery (Section 3)
- Microsoft 365 — delivery of contact form enquiries by email (Section 4)
We do not currently use Cloudflare, GitHub, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Azure Front Door, Azure CDN, or comparable services that process visitor data in connection with the live operation of solwino.com.
If additional processors are engaged in the future, we will document the respective processing purposes, legal bases, and any data transfers in this policy.
7. Cloud hosting
Personal data processed in connection with this website is handled in Microsoft Azure data centres in the Germany West Central region (Germany), within the European Union.
Microsoft acts as a processor for hosting and email services under the Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum (DPA), including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Further information is available at Microsoft's DPA documentation.
Where personal data is transferred to companies established outside the European Union, this takes place exclusively on the basis of appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR — in particular Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
8. Analytics and tracking tools
No analytics or tracking is active on this website. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Cloud monitoring for visitors, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Matomo, Plausible, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or comparable tools that analyse or profile your use of solwino.com.
We do not create usage statistics about individual visitors and do not run remarketing or advertising campaigns based on website behaviour.
No analytics or marketing cookies are currently used. The cookie notice on this website only informs you about technically necessary local storage (Section 9).
Should we use analytics or tracking tools in the future, this will only happen after obtaining your consent. We will then update this privacy policy and the cookie notice accordingly.
9. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set server-side tracking cookies. Scripts, styles, and fonts are loaded exclusively from our own hosting (Microsoft Azure).

This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in documenting your acknowledgement).
Language selection is handled via the URL path (/en/...,
/de/...) and does not require a separate cookie.
You can delete the stored acknowledgement at any time via “Cookie Settings” in the footer or by clearing your browser data.
10. Embedded third-party content
We do not embed third-party content such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, Calendly widgets, social media feeds, or comparable iframes on this website. Web fonts are self-hosted on our servers and are not loaded from external CDNs such as Google Fonts.
Should external content or services be integrated in the future, we will document the respective provider, data transmitted, legal basis, and any required consents in this policy.
11. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective processing purposes or as required by statutory retention periods.
- Server log files: 30 days, unless security incidents require longer retention.
- Contact enquiries: up to 12 months in our Microsoft 365 mailbox after the request has been handled, unless statutory retention requirements require a longer period.
- Cookie notice acknowledgement: stored locally in your browser until you delete it.
